2025 NFHS BASEBALL RULE CHANGES AND POINTS OF EMPHASIS
The NFHS has adopted new rules to provide similar requirements for wood and non-wood bats, and clarified game forfeiture rules. Points of emphasis cover official baseballs, pitching positions, bench decorum, props,
and proper use of Pitch-Com.

2-MAN MECHANICS
2-Man umpiring is the basis for everything we do on the field.  You have to understand 2-Man before you can move on the 3- or 4-Man umpiring.  This presentation discusses your initial positions on the field, fair / foul responsibilities, and fly ball coverage.
